Is the Baby Boomer market too old for disability insurance (DI)? Because the tail end of the Baby Boomer generation is about 10 years older than the average age of DI policyholders (34 years) some producers make the mistake of writing them off as too old for DI coverage. But even the oldest of Baby Boomers can take advantage of DI coverage if they meet certain conditions, and age is the least of them.
