75% of American require vision correction. We can help

Proper vision and vision exams are not only about seeing well, but being well. Regular eye exams can detect vision problems such as glaucoma, cataracts and reduced vision from nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Comprehensive eye exams can also reveal warning signs for more serious undiagnosed health problems such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, brain tumors, osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis. Early detection means lower cost of treatment and generally higher success ratios. A relatively low cost benefit,, vision care is a great addition to overall wellness and health management programs.

In a 2004 study by the American Optometric Association and reported in the Optometry Journal, a slight vision miscorrection can reduce productivity by 10% and accuracy by 40%. An employee with a salary of $25,000 could gain $2,500 in productivity with just a sight adjustment in vision, creating a cost/benefit ratio of $8.33 for every $1.00 spent on vision care.

A plan of annual eye exams can result in overall better health. Resulting increases is worker productivity and decreased absenteeism often means a vision plan can save a company money.
