Proper vision and vision exams are not only about seeing well, but being well. Regular eye exams can detect vision problems such as glaucoma, cataracts and reduced vision from nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Comprehensive eye exams can also reveal warning signs for more serious undiagnosed health problems such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, brain tumors, osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
